Do you have a desk job or a job that requires sitting all day?
I’m asking you because I’m one of you. My job requires too much sitting. When I started with this job I hated myself.
No, really. I hated myself. I didn’t feel like I’m doing something for me. With my strong mind I decided to use my free time to exercise.
And then it happened. It became my habit. I mentioned couple of times how I visit the gym on a regular basis.
I just LOVE the feeling after I do some exercises.
But, I didn’t start doing that right away. I started with small exercises. That was just to see if there will be some effects.
Keep in mind that I was eating healthy all the time. I wasn’t overweight.
My butt, back, muscles and body as a whole were feeling static.
The right word was rusty.
I felt like exercising on a daily basis was the road to feeling better.
And I can say it helped me a lot. The sitting job doesn’t bother me anymore and I still have time to sit down and write to you.
Spending most of your day sitting over your laptop could be killing you very slowly. Without you noticing it.
That’s why I found 3 really simple exercises for you. To make things more vividly, I included video tutorials of all exercises.
3 exercises. That’s all you need to start feeling better. Keep making them for a month and see the difference.
Let’s get moving:
If you sit for a longer period of time, your hip muscles will become tighter over time.
I don’t mean to scare you, but that means their life is getting shorter. That’s why it feels hard for you to stand up after a long sitting period.
So, you need to stretch and open up the hips by focusing more on the hip flexors.
The biggest enemy of people with sitting jobs. That hunchback look will start hunting you down and it will grow bigger and bigger.
There is a tension building every day you sit. You probably don’t feel it now, but over time you are going to wish you started exercising earlier.
Here is how to do it with a Foam Roller
As I said earlier, your butt carries the biggest load. It’s not easy to sit on it during the whole day.
After a long sit, your butt feels rusty. It’s probably already dead.
So what can you do to revive it?
I have the exercise that will help you do that.
What are you waiting for? You’ve been sitting enough. Go and perform these exercises.
It will take a couple of minutes.
Before you go, share this with your colleagues. They need to stretch out, too.
